Plain language for a standalone website purchase. Read it, then sign below.
1. Scope
Surfaced AI ("Provider") will design and build a professional website for the Client based on the submitted project brief. The standard website includes up to five essential pages, mobile friendly design, a contact or lead form, basic search setup, structured business information, and one revision round. Additional pages, copywriting, booking, payments, advanced integrations, or work beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately before they begin.
2. Payment
The website build payment shown in Stripe Checkout is due after this form is submitted. Stripe displays the exact amount before payment and applies the selected checkout offer. No monthly service is required with the website purchase.
3. Approval and revisions
Provider will present the completed website for review before publication. One revision round is included. Additional revisions or added scope are quoted before they begin.
4. Timeline
Work begins after Provider receives the signed agreement, payment, project brief, and materials needed for the build. Provider will confirm the expected delivery timeline. Delays in content, access, decisions, or feedback extend the timeline.
5. Ownership and delivery
The Client owns the finished website and Client supplied content once the project is paid. The domain belongs to the Client. Provider will supply a full export of the finished website upon request.
6. Domain and third party services
The Client owns and is responsible for their domain and any third party subscriptions selected for hosting, booking, payments, email, or other services. Provider is not responsible for third party outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by those platforms.
7. Refunds
The Client may request a refund before approving the completed website for publication. Once the Client approves the website, the build payment becomes nonrefundable. Approved additional work is nonrefundable once completed.
8. Results and liability
Provider does not guarantee rankings, traffic, lead volume, sales, or other business results. Provider’s total liability is limited to the fees actually paid. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
